Welcome to The Needled Canvas and Finest Threads new web site. We are so excited to have a web site to view counted thread embroidery, cross stitch, needlepoint, and gifts from our shop. We are fairly new; we opened our doors in Marietta, GA, on June 2, 2008. However, The Needled Canvas has existed for 14 years as a needlepoint shop. I purchased the shop, have added counted thread embroidery, gifts, and many new fibers to the shop for both counted thread and needlepoint stitchers.

Our web site is in its infancy, so please be patient with us as we grow the site as well as our shop. We will soon be able to take orders directly from our web site. Diana Lappin is our store manager and web master.

What's New

Our Grand Re-Opening, held on September 19th and 20th, was a great success! The food was delicious, the prizes were impressive, and everyone had a great time. We were pleased to have present Jim from Labors of Love with beautifully finished samples of his canvases to greet and talk with our guests. Also, the Whimsy and Grace trunk show had just arrived which is a beautiful set of floral (Pansies,Tulips, others, too) luggage tags, napkin rings, trays, tea cozies, and doorstops.

Approximately 300 people visited the shop. Many were customers of the shop under the previous ownership and expressed how delighted they were that the shop is still open. Members of the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce were present Friday morning to conduct a ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate the opening.
